Ready in 8 hours Serves 8-10+ people Ingredients Fat ‘smack yo mama’ pork butt AKA: Boston Butt, Pork Shoulder BBQ Rub of choice 6 oz Pineapple juice (optional) Preparation Unwrap the Butt and give it a good smack. Let it know what’s up. Cover the meat in BBQ rub. If you want to be Plane Jane, then just do a salt & pepper rub. Or skip this altogether. Plop it in the slow cooker. Set the crock pot for at least 8 hours. The lower the heat and longer the cooking time, the more tender. For added flavor, add Pineapple juice. Or a tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar. It will break down the meat a little more and make it more flavorful. Optional. Shred. After the meat is cooked through, take 2 forks and go to town destroying the beast while it’s sitting in those juices. Eat! Toss BBQ sauce on it or eat as is! Tips Great for tacos, pulled pork sammies, southwest egg scrambles. It’s generally a cheap meat that tastes great and stretches across many meals and feeds many mouths.

How much water should you drink every day? GREAT question. It does vary slightly from person to person, but a general rule is about a gallon. It can change from the weather, your activity level, medications, etc. Use this water calculator to figure out the right amount of water that's right for you. Keep track of how much you are drinking with a measured water bottle to keep on you throughout the day. Continuously drink water all day instead of chugging a large amount all at once. Hydration is a critical part of health. Every part of you can't work as well without plenty of clean water. Your skin will look better, you'll preform better in the gym, you'll feel better, and it can even aid in weight loss! If you aren't a fan of the taste, then try water bottles that infuse fruit, have built in filtration systems, or use flavor additives (like Mio) to make drinking water more appealing. Water is truly amazing.
