Any thoughts or guidance about MCT oil? Is it beneficial or is coconut oil just as good?

Great question Alessandra! MCT oil is great because it is comprised of 100% medium chain triglycerides, and can be absorbed 100% in the body. Coconut oil is about 60% MCTs, so you lose roughly 40% to malabsorption, which can result in bloating and in extreme cases, diarrhea. MCT oil is also excellent as an additive, and not as a cooking oil.
